If you’re familiar with Parque Mexico in Condesa then you probably already know that it’s a popular spot for city residents to take their dogs. Now that we have two pups we’ve been spending a lot of time there. A trip out to the park with Pedro and Lala is usually a several hour affair and we’re always on the lookout for inexpensive spots to grab a quick bite. A few weeks ago we discovered Falafelito, a small fast food-type falafel restaurant located across the street on Avenida Mexico. Immediately we loved it and have been back several times since. The food is awesome, the atmosphere laid-back and the service super friendly. Plus it’s 100% vegan and pet-friendly – they even have water dishes set out for the pups and hooks under the tables where you can attach their leashes. It’s a great option for vegetarians and vegans and well worth a visit.
